PSU’s GOT TALENT

Plymouth State University’s Event Marketing class, taught by Terri Dautcher, is hosting PSU’s Got Talent on Wed., Apr. 18, 2012 from 6:30-9:00pm in Silver Center for the arts.

Auditions were held March 4th, 5th, and the 11th. The judges were looking for anything and everything, from DJ’s, singers, musicians, jugglers, magicians you name it.

There will be a total of 20-25 acts preforming at the event, “We have a lot of singers some with guitars, a break-dancer, a rapper, a pianist, a comedy act, dancers, and hopefully a skit or two from some our sports teams,” said sophomore Allie Kosciak.

The show will include students, faculty, staff and members of the community.

The performers will be judged by a selected panel and brought down to two finalists. After the judges have their votes there the audience will have the privilege of voting for the best act. The winner gets a grand prize of $200.00.

All proceeds from tickets, concessions, and donations are being donated to the Bridge House, “the Bridge House is the local homeless shelter that is right in Plymouth. It was started by the people of the town a few years ago,” stated Kosciak.

Tickets will be on sale for $6 so come on down April 18th and see the talented students, staff members, and townspeople of Plymouth strut their stuff.
