On Wednesday, September 27, poet Jena Lê will be reading her poetry at the Silver Center for the Arts from 7-8 pm. Her performance, and book signing, which will follow, is part of the Eagle Pond Authors’ Series.
Lê has written two collections of poetry: Six Rivers and A History of the Cetacean American Diaspora. Lê has also written essays, fiction, and she has even done translations and penned literary criticism.
She has been a winner of the Minnetonka Review Editor’s Prize, and has been nominated for countless other prizes and awards.
Lê, who was born in Minnesota, is currently a local; she lives in the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire. Along with writing poetry, she works as a physician and educator.
