P lymouth State field hockey took on the Castleton Spartans Tuesday night at the New Hampton School in a non-conference matchup. Four of Plymouth State’s six goals were scored by senior Lily Davis (Boscawen, NH) Castleton, who will join the Little East Conference in 2018, tied the game up early in the second half, but four straight Plymouth goals gave them a 6-2 lead two from Davis and one each from Patty Newhard (South Dennis, MA) and Haley Wakefield (South Paris, ME).

Plymouth State currently leads the Little East Standings with a 4-1 record playing 2-0 in conference. The Panthers will have a tough road opponents on Saturday at Fitchburg State before returning for three straight home games at the New Hampton school including rival Keene State on Tuesday, September 19th.
