New Hampshire just carries four electoral votes, yet these four votes could be the deciding factor in who becomes the next President of the United States. Just days away from the election, Indiana Governor and Republican Vice President nominee, Mike Pence, made a trip to Rochester, New Hampshire on Sunday, October 30.

WMUR9 reported that about 250 people were in attendance. "This race is on," Pence told the crowd. "We are within the margin of error in New Hampshire and ABC just said we are one point away from a dead heat."

In a recent poll released by the Washington Post, Republican nominee Donald Trump was just one point ahead Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton with 46% of the vote, compared to Clinton with 45%.

"We are just so encouraged by the momentum in the campaign and across New Hampshire, and really, across the country, as people are really beginning to come to the conclusion that this isn’t a choice between two candidates, it’s a choice between two futures," the Indiana Governor added.

Despite a recent poll produced by WBUR, Democratic Nominee, Hillary Clinton, leads New Hampshire by seven points with a margin of error of four points. However, Republican Mike Pence believes that the recent decision by the FBI to open up its investigation into Clinton’s private email server may persuade voters towards voting republican. Pencehad this to say about the situation, "When she and her family were operating a private foundation that accepted contributions from foreign governments and foreign donors, and then had a private server between those two things to apparently keep out of public disclosure, which has come to light to be pay-to-play politics, I think it’s deeply troubling to millions of Americans.”

Republican nominee, Donald Trump, has also been under investigation for his failing businesses such as Trump Vodka, Trump Steaks, as well as a fraudulent investigation into Trump University and its credibility, along with accusations of sexual misconduct in the past.

Regardless of the accusations against both candidates, political analyst Chris Galdieri believes that the email controversy may bring out more Republican voters in the Granite State to vote Republican. “Republicans who had been planning to sit out the election might see it as worth turning out to vote and voting for Trump anyway,” Galdieri said. Galdieri is stressing everyone young and old to get out to vote regardless of which party they chose.

Interestingly enough, in the 2000 presidential race between Republican George W. Bush and Democrat Al Gore was decided on the four electoral votes from New Hampshire. If then, potential President of the United States, Al Gore, had won the electoral votes, than George W. Bush would have never been president.
