Plymouth State Mourns the Loss of Justin Sault
On Saturday January 28, just before 2 a.m., Holderness Police were notified of a young male who had fallen from a bridge just outside of the Plymouth State University campus. Justin Sault, a 20 year-old student at Plymouth State University, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was determined by investigators that the fall was an accident, after Sault was on the railing of the connector bridge between Holderness and Plymouth.
Sault, a native of Keene, New Hampshire, was a bachelor of fine arts student and an avid snowboarder.
In a press release sent out by the Holderness Police Department, alcohol may have been a contributing factor.
In an email sent out by PSU President Dr. Donald Birx to the student body, a memorial is being planned, but no definitive date has been sent.
If you, or a peer, need additional support, please contact PSU’s Michael L. Fischler Counseling Center. Hours are Monday-Tuesday 8am-7pm, and Wednesday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Their phone number is (603) 535-2461.
The Clock expresses its deepest condolences to family, friends, members of the PSU community, and the surrounding area.
