Looking Into Spring
Looking Into Spring
As another year has past since our last issue, a lot of things have changed. Winter has officially made an appearance, spring sports teams have started practicing, and second semester classes are in full swing. As we edge another semester closer to graduating, things begin to become more and more ‘real.’
Two weeks ago, Plymouth lost another one of its own. This community has lost some amazing people in the past couple years, and as tough as it may be to move forward, taking it one step at a time is all we can do. This community has been outstanding in its effort to come together in times of grief, and I think that it really shows how much we care about each other. The University faculty, students, and the locals all rally around each other, and the family that has been formed over the years is truly incredible.
Shifting gears, I was extremely impressed with the campus response to the super bowl this past Sunday. Not having to cover anything negative spoke volumes, and it was a definite improvement from the reaction two years ago.
Lastly, with winter carnival right around the corner, get out and try to enjoy what Plymouth has to offer. Even if you don’t ski, you can get outside, take a walk, and soak in the views.
Another semester is officially upon us. How will you remember it?
