Angel Tree

Every year, the Center for Transformation holds the Angel Tree, a charity event to help less fortunate families buy presents for their young children. The event runs from mid-November to early December.
Different organizations in the community gather information from the families and put it on informational cards for Angel Tree. Students, faculty, and members of the Plymouth community can pick up these cards. The cards list information about the age, preferences, sizes, and height (for clothing items) of each child, and the community members who act as the “angels” can buy the presents for the children.
Angels must bring the gifts back this year between November 26thand 28thto the organizations specified on each card, which then wrap and distribute the gifts to the families. Freshmen Jesse Turner and Savanna Scott explained that there is also a raffle this year to raise money for the organizations, which goes toward buying more gifts. The event fosters a sense of greater community in Plymouth, connecting the school to the town, and emphasizes the importance of supporting families and children around the holidays.
