Clocking in the Best
2018 is wrapping up and with that we see our last Clocking in the Best before the New Year. Winter sports have officially taken over and are playing there last few games before heading home to celebrate the holidays with their families. But they will be back in early January to continue on their seasons and search for success. Starting his junior year in men’s basketball, we meet Jaylen LeRoy.
Jaylen LeRoy is a New Hampshire resident from Manchester. As he continues on his career at Plymouth, he majors in business management and guards the key on the court in the gymnasium. He’s been starting since his freshman years and keeps bringing this explosive offense to the team. Scoring 274 points alone his freshman year, he more than doubled that his sophomore year getting almost 600 points. This set him up only shy of 133 points to become another 1,000-point scorer at Plymouth; which he accomplished November 28 against Castleton University. He not only is hot in shooting but contributes down below, grabbing 89 rebounds and averaging 4.3 rebounds per game so far this season. 20% from the three-point line and 87.2% for free throws, it looks like the junior is off to another big season.
