Why You Should Eat an Avocado Every Day
We all have heard the saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away,” but who knew other foods could be just as beneficial for your body and keep that doctor away!? The avocado has become a super trendy fruit (yes, fruit!), from its smooth creamy texture to its transformation into yummy guacamole. Not only are avocados delicious, but they also provide many health benefits for the human body. Avocados are a great source of healthy monounsaturated fat that will boost your heart health while also filling your body with rich fiber, keeping you full and satisfied longer. Along with many other superfoods, it’s the inside that counts. Avocados are a nutritional goldmine– with fourteen minerals and its source of soluble fiber, the green fruit contains traps extra cholesterol from the human body and sends it out of our system.
Avocados are also known to help fight chronic inflammation thanks to its oleic acid content. So if you are suffering from arthritis, allergies, asthma, cancer, or digestive pain, adding an avocado a day may benefit you. As you can tell by now, avocados offer incredible health benefits! Research shows that people who eat avocados tend to be healthier and experience a higher nutrient intake. Make sure you don’t limit your avocado consumption– eat one every day!
