“Deck the Halls with Ugly Sweaters”
New MAPS Event to Take Place December 3rd
Deck the Halls with Ugly Sweaters is a new event being put on by the Marketing Association of Plymouth, or MAPS.
December 3rd will be a night of casual dancing and free skating at the Ice Arena. Whoever brings the ugliest sweater will be crowned the King and Queen of the Ugly Sweater, with prizes from Scoops, Plymouth’s local ice cream parlor. The event starts at 7:30 and ticket sales will be in the HUB, starting towards the end of November.
“Hopefully the event will be a great time for everyone,” said Jake Gordon, Vice President of Public Relations. “Hopefully everyone involved will have a great time, and will be something that becomes a PSU tradition. “
This event is a rebrand of MAPS’ previous event, “snowball.” Snowball was a more formal event, and MAPS is trying to reinvent the wheel with something more relaxing. The event starts at 7:30 and tickets sales will be in the Hub starting towards the end of November. We will be getting local entertainment.
