New Pokémon Ultra Sun and Moon

The first Pokémon game I ever played was Leaf Green, when I was 8 years old. Ever since then, the Pokémon games for Nintendo have been my favorite videogames. Playing Pokémon helps me relax after a long day of classes and work. It is also perfect for plane rides, and any other situation where you could use a pick-me-up.

Pokémon Ul tra Sun and Ul tra Moon came out this past November. At first, I was hesitant to buy either of them, because I thought they were going to be too similar to last year’s games, Pokémon Sun and Moon. I, among many other Pokémon fans, was pleasantly surprised with the games. It is likely one of the most fun Pokémon games I have ever played.

The new games have new and engaging features such as the Battle Agency, where you can actually rent strong Pokémon, and collecting Totem stickers. You can rent three Pokémon at a time to command, as you try to defeat the three Pokémon in your opponent's team. The more battles you win, the stronger and cooler Pokémon you can rent. Totem stickers are these shiny gold stickers that are hidden all around the Alola region. You can find them in places like Pokémon centers, and along sides of buildings, among other places. If you collect a certain amount of them, you can receive the Totem Pokémon from the Island trials. These two additions to the game really make it all the more fun.

The new games have some similarities to the regular Pokémon Sun and Moon games, including the three starter Pokémon: Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. But there are many new Pokémon to catch, and it is even possible to catch every Legendary Pokémon ever, upon completing the games. You will not know the real thrill of these new Pokémon until you play either one, or both of the games.

There are also new Pokémon moves, as well as new Z-moves, added on from Pokémon Sun and Moon. The legendary Pokémon, Solgaleo and Lunala, have new Z-moves called Searing Sunraze Smash and Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom. The moves are really incredible to watch.

The new games have a lot of beautiful scenery and artful moves that can only be experienced while playing. These games are the perfect Christmas present for anyone who wants to rekindle the love for Pokémon that they had as a child. They are also perfect for present-day Pokémon nerds.

As a big fan of Pokémon and Pokémon Nintendo games, I recommend trying out the new Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. I can guarantee that once you start playing, you will find it difficult to put it down.
