Student Dies After Battle with Cancer
Amanda Johnston, a senior at Plymouth State University, died yesterday morning after a battle with brain cancer.
Vice President Jim Hundrieser will take care of all sympathy cards and make sure they get to the family.
The funeral is scheduled for Mon., Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. at the Campton Congregational Church.
"Let us think especially of Amanda's friends and family," wrote President Sara Jayne Steen in an email to the entire campus earlier today.
Johnston is the second student to pass away this year following the death of sophomore Brittany Flannigan.
