Western Conference

San Antonio Spurs (1) vs. Memphis Grizzlies (8)

The Grizzlies pulled off what many people called an upset in game one, but Manu Ginobili was out. The Spurs have a lot of playoff experience and the Grizzlies are a little too young (but fun to watch). Spurs in 6.

Los Angeles Lakers (2) vs. New Orleans Hornets (7)

I was personally shocked that the Hornets won game one. The Lakers are a team that is a lot older than people think, but the Hornets are still missing that "it" factor to go along with Chris Paul. Lakers in 6.

Dallas Mavericks (3) vs. Portland Trail Blazers (6)

The Mavericks, like the Lakers and Spurs, aren't getting any younger. LaMarcus Aldridge has turned into a heck of a basketball player, and Brandon Roy is due for a huge postseason. Blazers in 5.

Oklahoma City Thunder (4) vs. Denver Nuggets (5)

If the Nuggets can go to O.K. (which is tough to play in) and lose by only 4, they have the ability to go far in the playoffs. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook need more help. Nuggets in 7.

Eastern Conference

Chicago Bulls (1) vs. Indiana Pacers (8)

The Pacers played with all their mite in game one, but came up just short in the final minutes. The Bulls are a very young team, but they can beat their division rival with Derrick Rose at the helm. Bulls in 5.

Miami Heat (2) vs. Philadelphia 76ers (7)

I wish I could pick the Sixers for the upset, but they are a year away from that happening. The Sixers are a team that hustles, so this should give LeBron and company a small test. Heat in 6.

Boston Celtics (3) vs. New York Knicks (6)

This has turned into another NY vs. Boston rivalry that is great to watch. The Knicks lost a tough game one that would have helped them big time. With that lost goes the Knicks as they needed that one. Celts in 7.

Orland Magic (4) vs. Atlanta Hawks (5)

This 4/5 match up seems quite lackluster in my opinion. The Hawks are a team that doesn't know if they want to be defense or offense orientated, and the Magic have Dwight Howard, who is a monster. Magic in 7.
