#Throwback to 10 Years Ago This Week in A&E - Week of October 29, 2017
Music:
During the week of October 29, 2007, the single “Crank That (Soulja Boy)” by Soulja Boy still had the #1 spot on the Billboard 200, where it would stay until November 10.
Movies:
The movies “American Gangster” (starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe), “Bee Movie” (starring Jerry Seinfeld, Renee Zellweger and Uma Thurman) and “No Country for Old Men” (starring Javier Bardem, Tommy Lee Jones and James Brolin) rocked the box office this week ten years ago. There was no middle ground--either gratuitous violence or childhood-friendly animation.

“Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” came out this week ten years ago, adding legions of fans to the worship of the “Call of Duty” franchise.
Books:
Fiction novel “World Without End” by Ken Follett was at the top of “The New York Times” best seller list during this week in 2007.
