What Will You Binge Next?
Recently the newest thing to do when a college student has a day off is to bundle up in bed, turn on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu, and begin a day long marathon of the TV show of their choice. Though it may be unhealthy, bingeing is probably one of the most addicting activities. So, to assist everyone’s binging needs, here are some shows that are worth a try.
Boardwalk Empire- HBO loves their drama, and if you like mobsters, gangsters, sex, violence, and manipulation, then you will love Boardwalk Empire. Empire is a great show full of emotion and has some real historic figures portrayed in it, so maybe you will learn a thing or two while you watch.
Dexter- This Showtime series is already popular, but for those who haven’t had the pleasure, it’s a must see. About a blood analyst who moonlights as a serial killer, Dexter Morgan is the type of serial killer who you can cheer for. It’s hard to explain but that’s all the more reason why you need to watch.
Wilfred – An FX comedy that’s slightly odd, where a man imagines (or does he?) that his neighbor’s dog is a full grown man in a dog costume. The only thing is… he’s the only one who does. It’s strange, it’s funny, and it deserves some attention.
Sopranos- Another gangster show, but this time cast in modern day. Sopranos is also brought to you by HBO, however this time around you don’t have to wait for the next season because the show is already finished. Now you get to all of Tony Sopranos’ tale without waiting through any cliff hangers. You could probably complete Sopranos in a week. Maybe a couple of days if you’re really up to the challenge.
Band of Brothers- An HBO war/drama miniseries based in WWII, Band of Brothers is a must see. Everyone who sees Brothers gives it the highest recommendations. Raw emotions, violence, and brotherhood, an overall great show for anyone to enjoy.
