The Hood Internet is a collaborative website of different mashup artists with free access to their songs. According to Wikipedia, "A mashup is the musical genre encompassing songs which consist entirely of parts of other songs." Other similar artists include The Kleptones or the work of the DJ known as Girl Talk. The creators of this website are two DJ's that go by the names of DJ ABX and DJ STVSLV.

The blog website which is frequently updated with tour dates and upcoming events on the right side of the page. To the left are different albums or sets of mash-ups that The Hood Internet, a mashup band, has produced. By clicking on certain links, a listener can a full track list by the band. Some songs feature popular artists such Kid Cudi's Day and Night mixed with Bon Jovi's 80s classic, Livin' on a Prayer. Other songs include The Doobie Brothers and Air France or Birdman and the artist Washed Out. Some songs are more obscure such as a song featuring GZA and new artist Salvador Santana.

As a blog website, there is space for anyone who has anything to say to type in how they feel towards a certain blog topic. There are both positive and negative comments on the site. One user commented, "This is the first song I've downloaded for a while hope you guys can keep it up! I still keep coming back though."

Something that The Hood Internet includes with all of their songs is a picture of the artists they use in the song. For the song featuring Bon Jovi and Kid Cudi there is a picture of Bon Jovi's band. After looking a little closer, fans might notice Kid Cudi is placed in between the band members.
