Musicovery
What music lovers are looking for
Sick of Pandora repeating the same kinds of songs over and over? Isn't it annoying that Pandora and other alike websites don't have all of the genres available at the touch of a button? Wouldn't it be great if the computer could pick songs unique to the user music based on their mood? Well, there is a site that can do all this, and more.
Musicovery.com is exactly what music lovers have been looking for. Musicovery allows the user to be as picky at they want about their music choice. This website is as easy to use as it is colorful and pleasing to the eye. If a user likes 90's pop dance music, it can be found on the site just as easily as dark disco music from the 70's. Who knew there was such a thing?
A colorful panel on the left hand side of the screen pops up when the website is accessed. On this rectangular panel all of the music genres are listed. The user can find funk, latino, electric and anything in between. Once a genre is selected the user can slide a bar up and down a scale with different decades listed. This enables the user to pick what time frame they want their music to be from whether it is the 40's or all decades. The user can view and listen to their favorite artists and songs when they would like.
Perhaps the most exceptional part of this site is the ability to control the songs chosen through the tempo, or whether the song has a dance beat. Like a volume control the user can add or decrease both the tempo and the ability to dance to the music. The site also allows the user to base the music on the mood their feeling at the time. The person can choose from dark, calm, energetic or positive depending on the mood chosen.
Musicovery is free to all with Internet access for regular use. The user is allowed to choose favorite songs and artists as well as accessing all music available on the site. The user is also able to switch between hearing songs based on similar favorite artists or choose discover mode. This mode is interesting and unique because the songs picked aren't based on favorites, but it is designed to allow the user access new and sometimes unusual bands that they may not have heard or ever even heard of. This makes it really hard to be hearing the same old song and dance on Musicovery.
The only downside to the free side of Musicovery is that the music quality is low-medium and a premium user gets high quality and capability to fast forward through songs. If interested, a user can purchase Premium Musicovery for a low fee and receive this access, but don't people say the best things in life are free.
Musicovery is recommended for those who not only like music, but also like to discover new tunes. Those who also like to control their choice will also enjoy the site's feature for playing around. This website is not recommended for those music snobs who only listen to high definition music.
